tEAM WORK:

Team work may be explained in a multitude of ways, but like always the best way would be to study a known successful model. The best model of a team and teamwork is the oldest known team in the world. A team of five that has created the wonders of this world, it’s the team that built the Taj Mahal and also caused the world wars. It’s the same team that made the PC that you are reading this blog on. It is the Human hand.
The human hand is one of those rare organs that set us apart from other biological species. This organ has the ability to lift and hold kilos of material, and can twist steel wires while at the same time being able to thread a needle, and remove a thorn from the paw of some grateful animal besides being able to create delicate works of art.
See the hand. The fingers are the five members of the team (unless you have >five fingers). They are all of varied length and thickness. All are different and unique in their own ways. Each one is in its own place, neither interchangeable, not replaceable. The success of this team lies in its ability to work in perfect unison and coordination. None of the fingers by themselves are greater than the others. Each member here knows its place and role with respect to the other fingers. Each action is spontaneous and without needless deliberation.
The index finger has the versatility to dial a phone number or feel for a tiny thorn in the skin while at the same time being fearless enough to point out flaws or wrong doings if any. The middle finger provides root strength, and is the strongest of the lot; it is the most enduring of the five and will stay on even when the others are losing heart. The ring finger usually takes the decoration on behalf of the others to make sure their work isn’t hampered by such things. It also supplies strength to the team. The little finger or pinky is the smallest in size, the most nimble and weakest in strength, but none can give the balance that it does besides being able to enter places the others cannot because of size. The thumb is a very important part of the team. It opposes. The opposition provided by this member makes the others do useful work, enables them to grab, and hold on, without the opposition the others wouldn’t be as strong. The others have to work in tandem with the thumb. Those who can are considered the most useful. The index finger has the tact required to work with the thumb and together they achieve a lot don’t they? The lines on the palm are the fissures in the team which shape the destiny and the opportunities that would be available, and also what the hand would do.
That’s the best team in the world, the one that has accomplished everything in the world, and will accomplish everything in future!
